THE FUTURE OF PLUMBING IS HERE "SFMC  PP-R  Products being physically superior, hygienically safe and non-carcinogenic, have been approved by the Health Instituted, CBRI – Roorkee (India)  and many other recognized international instituted for its superior product qualities".

Features

Mounting & Fittings

The raw material of SFMC Pipes and fittings is polypropylene random copolymer (PP-R) . This material due to high quality, is the most reliable system to be employed in plumbing and water supply plants.

Physiochemical feature of Polypropylene Random Copolymer and the fusion welding ensures that plumbing systems have a perfect seal even under the hardest conditions of use. The complete range of products has been further improved with exclusive SFMC parts, which have been designed to meet all possible needs.

SFMC PP-R  Products being physically superior, hygienically safe and non-carcinogenic, have been approved by the Health Institutes, CBRI Roorkee (India)  and many other recognized international institutes for its superior product qualities.

High chemical resistance.

No bacteria and moss reproduction within the pipes.

Resistance to high temperature (93oC).

Heat preservative and energy saving (no need for insulation)

Taste and odour neutral.

No reaction with salts and acids.

UV stable from sizes 25mm and above.

Available in different pressure ratings for diversified usage from economy range to premium coverage.

Recyclable - for the benefit of environment.

Advantages of SFMC PP-R Pipes Over Metallic Pipes:

Light Weight as compared to heavy G.I. pipes, thus reducing handling and transportation costs.

Very Smooth Inside Bore as compared to rough inside bore of G.I. pipes thus reducing frictional loses. Ensuring higher flow compares to G.I. pipes of same size and subsequently requiring less electric power thus reducing the electricity cost.

Corrosion resistant when compares to G.I. pipes , which gets corroded resulting in reduction of bore diameter and hence reduction in flow, where as in SFMC pipes, no clogging thus dependability years after years.

Service life of 50 years as compares to G.I. pipes life of 10 years. Tension free maintenance free service life.

Unique joining Procedure which insures homogenous leak proof jointing. Where as in case of G.I. pipes, threading peels off galvanization which results in flowing water coming in contact with raw iron.

Hygiene Certification obtained by PP-R Pipes where as no such certification for G.I. pipes.

No additional material cost incurred in installation as there is no requirement of any kind of Hacksaw, Teflon Tape, Sateda, Dori, etc. which reduces the cost considerably.

Behavior in Different Temperatures & Pressures

SFMC pipes and fittings are produced from Polypropylene Random copolymer Type 3 as raw material having low melt flow rate, high molecular weight and good flexibility. This raw material is recommended for the production of pressure pipes including potable water transfer lines, hot and cold water transfer lines, floor heating and also for chemical industry application. Good long term pressure resistance and easy processing and installation technique give cold and hot water systems made of PP-R pipes an advantage as alternative to the traditional systems.

Comparison of Pipe  Type on the Basis of Material:

Service Life Guarantee (years) 50 3-15 5-25 3-30 0-20 0-50

The guarantee service life of pipes other than PP-R depends on quality of raw material used and many other parameters.

SFMC is concerned about the above flaws. Are you equally concerned? If so, then let’s join the ranks of international fraternity with SFMC pipes which will most certainly make the difference between pure and impure water, convenience and inconvenience. The PP-R Pipes and fittings being used currently in over 53 countries are certified for their hygienic use from Germany, Netherlands, Australia, Belgium, France, England, Italy and complying with Food and Drug Administration of U.S.A.  are now available in India. Do not compromise, when a better product is available at no extra cost. Today SFMC is the only company in India with the complete manufacturing and testing facilities for the production of PP-R pipes and fittings. SFMC is not only the first company to introduce PP-R  pipes and fittings in India, but also the first company to manufacture PP-R pipes and fittings with its complete range of pipes and fittings.
